This hideous creature has been hanging around my front window and I think it might be killing the flowers in my window boxes. The one it's on now is lovely and bright, but some of the others look like they've had the life sucked out of them. You can see one of the damaged ones in the corner of the picture.
It's not green like a grasshopper--it's almost black and has a yellow stripe. He got an attitude with me today when I was watering the flowers.
And I think he turned my electricity off yesterday.

Grasshopper-like-thing-a-ma-bugs wouldn't be able to kill a perpetual. My mom would want me to remind everyone of that.
But perpetuals are so hard to anchor down...
