The confederate jasmine is blooming like mad on my fence and is now nearly covering the mailbox. It smells fantastic!
Yes, I know I have to edge by the street--it looks a little sloppy, but still it's neater than most single woman homes in the neighborhood. What am I talking about--there are only two single women in the neighborhood and I'm one of them. I may as well just say, "It looks better than Ellen's yard."

If it's confederate, you don't need to edge -- just say it has seceded from your yard and you have no authority over it.
